About ME

Hi!  My name is Kyla Jewell.  Born and raised in Montana!  I was  always that ever-active kid, constantly running around outside, riding my bike everywhere, climbing trees, and playing in the dirt.  When I wasn't doing that or at school, my parents had me signed up for every sport under the sun.  I loved all of it, and I was darn competitive too.  As I got older and each sport demanded more time, I chose to focus on figure skating and track & field, competing in both throughout high school. In addition to training and competing I also began coaching skating in several locations.   After high school, figure skating won over track & field, and I continued on to start up and develop the Intercollegiate Figure Skating team at Montana State University, to be able to compete at the college level.  After developing that brand new program I had the amazing opportunity to skate professionally with Holiday On Ice, performing in shows across Europe.  Over the next few years I bounced between college and show skating, and after two international tours I decided to complete my Bachelor's in Kinesiology . So I went back to school, competing collegiately, and coaching.  After graduating, I stopped competing in figure skating and focused on coaching.
